Cranberry Wobbler

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1cups fresh cranberries, ground
  • 1cup granulated sugar
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages orange gelatin or 2 (3 ounce) packages lemon gelatin
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 1cups cold water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1teaspoon clove
  • 1 orange, sectioned and diced
  • 1cup almonds or 12 cup walnuts, chopped

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine cranberries and sugar and set aside.
  2. Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Add cold water, lemon juice, cinnamon and cloves.
  3. Chill until thickened.
  4. Fold in cranberries, orange and nuts.
  5. Spoon into 6-cup mold. Chill until firm.
  6. Unmold. Garnish with crisp salad greens, if desired.
