I slowly gathered random frames over the course of a few months with the end result in mind. All of my frames were from Home Goods, Target, random garage sales, and mostly Dollar Tree. Since our wedding theme incorporated mixed metals (mostly copper, rose gold and gold) I got many in those colors. Plus white and silver.
I also had some initial letters and a small grape vine wreath I randomly picked up from Dollar Tree, so that’s what I laid on the pallets first to work around. By the way, I just used some pallets from my parents fruit farm and power washed them. I stood one on end (like a portrait) and the other on it’s side (landscape).
To adhere the frames to the pallet, I bought a 15 foot role of Velcro. I placed two pieces of Velcro on the back of each frame after removing the stand (if it had one). I found the easiest way to do this was to stick the Velcro together on the frame, peel of the protective strip, and place it onto the pallet. That way you don’t have to worry about lining up the strips of Velcro. (In the pictures below, I am showing you what it looks like after I peeled the frame off).
